aTube Catcher (previously YouTube Catcher) is a simple tool for downloading videos from such popular sites as YouTube, Google Video, MySpace and many others.
It allows you to download video clips from the Internet and save them as files compatible with mobile phones, smartphones running Android, PSP consoles, as well as iPad / iPhone / iPod. It supports multiple formats like: 3GP, 3G2, AVI, XVID, MP4, MP3, MP2, WMA, WMV, FLAC, WAV, PSP, MPG, VOB, OGG, MOV and AVI. You are also able to create and burn DVD-Video/Video-CD directly from the program, without having to use third-party software. It also offers a set of functions to convert your video files, so you can very quickly and easily change the format of films that have downloaded.
In addition, the program is equipped with tools for audio recording, combining multiple videos and saving it into one file from multiple clips, burning audio CD media, searching and downloading MP3 files, as well as capturing video, music, and SWF files on any web page in StreamCatcher (Winpcap 4.0 or later required). Noteworthy is also the URL Monitor feature, which allows you to detect a link to the material even in when it's not available from the address bar.
aTube Catcher is available in multiple languages. It's interface is very simple and intuitive. The installer of this program offers you an additional component called "Speed up your computer". I didn't noticed any speed up and the removal of this tool was problematic, so I recommend you to skip this part of installation.
