I am sure everyone of you heard about cloud computing and the profits it brings. This is why Windows Server 2012 (codenamed "Windows Server 8") should get your attention.
Windows Server 2012, will offer businesses and hosting providers a scalable, dynamic, and multitenant-aware, cloud-optimized infrastructure. It securely connects across premises and helps IT Professionals to respond to business needs faster and more efficiently.
As we can read at Microsoft site.
One thing is for sure: you can expect a higher performance at the lower cost of data storage, because this is what cloud computing was created for. I will not list all the features Windows Server 2012 contains, because you can find all information on the site I mentioned before, with details. The most notable one is the new File System for handling heavy-duty data and for sharing data among multiple machines. Also the server manager interface has been completely redesigned to make it easier to manage multiple servers. It also features the very popular Metro-style UI which replaces the old Start Menu
The reason I made this post is because since few days Windows Server 2012 Release Candidate (RC) is available to download. You can try all the features by yourself and make your own opinion. In my humble opinion it is worth to try, because it could be a small revolution in the Windows Server series. Also, it's the last opportunity to test Windows Server 2012 before it will be officially released.
The download of Windows Server 2012 comes with the support for multiple languages.
