If you're reading news, you probably already know that LinkedIn was hacked recently . Russian hackers released a giant list of passwords and usernames. The 6.5 million leaked passwords were posted at Monday on a russian forum. They were coded with a common cryptographic method called SHA-1 hash. The word "common" means that most of them are already decoded.

LastPass is a free application designed to manage passwords and synchronize them between browsers. To use the service you must register your account online, providing current email address and a main password. After installation you will notice a LastPass icon on the top right side of your browser.
